Two young men were killed and two others sustained severe injuries after falling from the roof of a moving train while recording a video in Akhaura, Brahmanbaria.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:30am on Wednesday near the Mogra Railway Bridge.
The deceased have been identified as Abdul Kaiyum Mia, 22, son of Abdul Karim Mia from Debidwar, Comilla and Tareq Mia, 20, a resident of Kasba, Brahmanbaria.
The injured individuals are Ikram Hossain, 18 and Billal Mia, 25, both from Kasba.

According to railway police, local sources and family members, the Sylhet-bound Paharika Express, departing from Chittagong, passed through Gangasagar Railway Station in Akhaura around 11am.
At approximately 11:30am, as the train reached the Mogra Railway Bridge, four young men standing on the roof of a passenger coach began recording a video.
While filming, three of them focused on capturing footage of another.
During this process, they came into contact with overhead electric cables, causing them to fall from the train.
Abdul Kaiyum Mia died instantly at the scene, while local residents rescued the injured individuals.
Two of them were taken to Akhaura Upazila Health Complex and another was transported to Brahmanbaria General Hospital.
Tareq Mia succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
Dr Md Lutfur Rahman, the residential medical Officer of Akhaura Upazila Health Complex, said that two unconscious individuals were brought to the facility.
Due to the severity of their conditions, they were referred to Brahmanbaria General Hospital for advanced medical treatment.
Dr Gopa Pal and Dr Sanjida Haque, residential medical officers at Brahmanbaria General Hospital, reported that the two injured individuals sustained critical injuries—one suffered skull fractures, while the other sustained severe wounds to the neck due to entanglement with the overhead cables.
Their conditions remain critical and they have been referred to Dhaka for further treatment.
Md Jasim Uddin Khandaker, officer-in-charge of Akhaura Railway Police Station, confirmed that the four young men were recording a TikTok video while standing on the train’s roof.
Two of them tragically lost their lives—one at the scene and the other at the hospital.
The matter is currently under investigation and the bodies will be sent for post-mortem examination.
