Due to a devastating fire in the cloud-covered Sajek Valley of Baghaichhari upazila, Rangamati, the district administration has discouraged tourists from travelling there for safety reasons.
The announcement came through a press release signed by Additional District Magistrate Pathan Mohammad Saiduzzaman and sent to the media on Monday evening.
The press release said that, considering tourist safety after the massive fire in Sajek tourist area of Baghaichhari upazila, travellers are discouraged from visiting the destination from Tuesday until further notice.
