At least people were injured as a bus carrying wedding guests fell into a roadside ditch in the Bhobukdia area of Nagarkanda upazila on the Dhaka-Barishal highway on Friday night.
Sub-Inspector Mamun of Bhanga highway police said the accident occurred around 10:30pm when the bus was heading towards Faridpur, leaving 30 people injured.
Fire service and highway police personnel conducted rescue operations till midnight.
Some of the critically injured passengers were taken to a hospital.
