A digital signboard at a private clinic in the Medical Mor area of Hatibandha, Lalmonirhat, displayed the text: “The Chhatra League will return again, Joy Bangla, Joy Bangabandhu,” sparking curiosity and concern among locals.
The message began scrolling on the digital signboard of the "Hathibandha Clinic and Nursing Home" around 8pm on Sunday.
According to the clinic authorities, the software controlling the signboard was hacked. However, they declined to provide further comments on the incident.
Local residents revealed that the clinic operates under joint ownership, with individuals affiliated with both the BNP and the Awami League.
Hatibandha Police Station's Investigation Officer Mamun Hossain confirmed the incident, saying: “The text was appearing right before our eyes. We saw it. The software was brought to the police station. A general diary (GD) has been filed on behalf of the clinic.”
