Former fisheries and livestock minister Abdul Latif Biswas has been detained by joint forces in Sirajganj.
He was detained on Sunday afternoon, from his home village of Kamarpara in Belkuchi upazila.
Belkuchi police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Barek confirmed the matter, saying that joint forces arrested former minister Latif Biswas from his village home.
He was then taken to the army camp in the district headquarters.
It was initially learned that he was being interrogated there.
However, it is not yet known under which case he has been detained.
