Many people from across the country are escaping the winter chill and heading to the beach for warmth and relaxation.

The whole area, including other tourist spots, is lively with visitors, making business owners happy.

The tourist police have also taken strict measures to ensure safety.

As 2024 ends and 2025 begins, Cox’s Bazar is full of people.

Families and groups are here to enjoy their holidays and welcome the New Year.

The beach is busy with people of all ages sharing their joy.

A couple from Dhaka, Zahid Chowdhury and Moon, said that they booked their hotel a month ago and always visit Cox’s Bazar with their family at this time of year.

Parvez Alam from Rajshahi shared his excitement about celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks at midnight, something he looks forward to every year.

Tourism businesses are thriving, even without open-air concerts this year.

Instead, luxury hotels are hosting indoor events.

Radiant Fish World, the country’s only fish aquarium, has been decorated beautifully and is drawing large crowds.

Its manager, Shafiqul Rahman, shared how ticket sales were higher than usual, making him very happy.

Abdur Rahman, leader of the beach traders’ association, said they are ensuring fair prices and smooth service for tourists.

The tourist police have added extra security to keep visitors safe. Officers are stationed at the beach and other spots to avoid any trouble.

Tourist Police official Mohammad Asaduzzaman said that they have a five-level security plan to protect the large number of visitors and make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

As the New Year begins, there is hope for growth and prosperity for both the country and its tourism sector.
