Farzana Haque, the sister of Shaheed Ikramul Haque Sajid, a student of Jagannath University who was killed during the July Uprising, expressed her pride in being known as Sajid's sister, despite having her own identity.

She said this during a discussion titled "Post-Revolutionary Student Unity" organized by the Jagannath University Journalists Association on Wednesday in memory of Sajid.

"My mother still sleeps holding his clothes close to her chest. I am not sure if the time our family is going through is even right. We are spending our days with his memories," she said.

She further added: "He was a very brave person. Even when we asked him not to, he didn’t listen. He went in response to the call of the revolution. Often, when we would forbid him, we would see him sitting quietly. Later, we would send him again. But we never realized we would lose our Sajid."

Farzana Haque said: "I have lost my brother, and many others have lost their loved ones for this revolution. We must ensure this revolution is not forgotten. Sajid's blood should not be in vain. I urge you all to maintain this unity."
