A fire broke out at a warehouse of agricultural products in the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (Bscic) area of Mymensingh Sadar upazila on Friday.
Motiur Rahman, deputy director of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) in Mymensingh, said the fire originated from the warehouse around 10:45am and engulfed a bakery adjacent to it.
Upon being informed, six firefighting units from nearby stations rushed to the spot and are now working to tame the flame, he said.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, he said, adding that details about the incident will be shared later.
