Detective Branch of Bogra Police have arrested three Awami League and affiliated organization leaders, who are accused in several cases, including murder.
DB police officials said that the three were apprehended during an operation across the district on Thursday night.
On Friday, they were sent jail following court orders, as confirmed by DB OC Mustafiz Hasan.
The arrested leaders include Abu Saeed, 40, son of Jabed Ali from Laldah village in Shibganj upazila, Faruk Hossain, 38, son of Ashraf Ali from Bolrampur village in the same upazila and Md Alal, 44, son of Miru Sheikh from Choksutrabari North Para in Bogra town.
They face multiple charges in various police stations, including cases related to murder and explosives.
