A human chain was organized by the officials and employees of Comilla Education Board on Monday in the Comilla Education Board premises, protesting the unruly behavior of certain failed students across various education boards.
These students have been making unauthorized demands, creating chaos, locking the gates, and trapping board officials.
Moreover, there have been incidents of physical assaults on the officials and employees of Dhaka Education Board and vandalism of furniture.
The human chain was also held to appeal to the chief adviser and education adviser to ensure a safe working environment for the officials and employees.
Participants in the human chain included the Chairman of Comilla Education Board, Professor Dr Md Nizamul Karim, Secretary Professor Noor Mohammad, Controller of Examinations Professor Dr Md Ashaduzzaman and College Inspector Professor Md Zohirul Islam Patwary.
