A murder case has been filed against 56 people, including former agriculture minister Md Abdur Razzaque, former state minister for commerce Ahasanul Islam Titu, and five former MPs, in connection with the death of a 10th-grade student who was shot during the anti-discrimination student movement in Tangail.
An additional 150 to 200 unidentified individuals have also been accused in the case.
The victim's mother, Morsheda Begum, filed the case with Tangail Sadar police station on Sunday night.
Tangail Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Lokman Hossain confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
