The Amtali police station in Barguna has observed a commemorative event to remember the deaths of their colleagues across the country during and after the student movement.
Members of all levels of the police station switched off the lights and lit candles at 11pm on Saturday.
They also demanded harsh punishment for the murder of police members.
Terrorists brutally tortured and killed many policemen across the country, according to Officer-in-Charge Kazi Shakhwat Hossain Tapu. "Many families have become destitute due to the loss of the family's only earner," he added.
