Two men have been detained with 90 litres of illegal liquor in Tangail.
A group of students identified the two dealers early Sunday morning in the Kanda Para area of the town and informed the army.
The members of the Bangladesh Army then arrived at the scene and took them away.
The detainees are Sumon Ahmed and Alhaz Mia.
They were engaged in the illicit liquor trade for an extended period, away from public view.
Tangail Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge, Lokman Hossain, said that the two liquor dealers were brought to the police station by the army and students from Kanda Para with 90 litres of liquor.
