A man was reportedly shot dead amid a clash between protesters and Awami League leaders and activists in Ashulia of Savar on Sunday.
Besides, another person who was shot is being treated at a hospital.
The body was brought to Dhamrai Upazila Health Complex around 1:30pm on Sunday.
The identity of the deceased, aged around 30, is not known yet.
The injured person is Biplab, 40. He sells water by the side of the road.
According to the Upazila Health Complex, around 1:30pm, four-five people brought the body of a 30-year-old man to the hospital. They left the body in the hospital.
Injured Biplab said: “I was selling water on the side of the road. Suddenly there is a clash. Then a bullet hit me.”
