Thirteen more people were arrested from early Saturday to evening in Barisal city and district.
With these arrests, the total number of arrestees has reached 134 within six days, with seven cases lodged, confirmed Barisal Metropolitan Police and district police.
Barisal Metropolitan Police Commissioner Zihadul Kabir said that the total number of arrestees over the last six days has reached over 100, with nine of them arrested from early Saturday to evening in connection with recent violence.
Barisal district Police Superintendent (SP) Wahidul Islam confirmed the arrests of at least four from early Saturday to evening.
