A fire broke out at a warehouse of a garment factory in Ashulia, Savar, early on Thursday.
Eight units of the fire service were working to control the blaze, at the time of reporting.
The affected factory was Shrabony Knitwear Ltd, confirmed fire service official Abu Sayem Masum.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are not yet known.
Pranab Choudhury, senior station officer of DEPZ Fire Station, said no workers were present in the factory at the time.
