The country's second-largest Eid congregation took place at Dinajpur’s Gor Shahid Eidgah.
The congregation began at 8:30am on Monday, led by Maulana Shamsul Alam Kasemi.
To accommodate the large number of devotees attending this significant Eid gathering, two special trains were arranged, arriving from Thakurgaon and Parbatipur to Dinajpur. After the prayers, these trains returned to Thakurgaon and Parbatipur.
Prayers were offered for the progress of the country and the well-being of the nation.
In addition to Dinajpur residents, worshippers from surrounding districts participated in this large congregation for Eid-ul-Azha prayers.
The Eid-ul-Azha congregation at the Shaheed Maidan in Gor, spanning 22 acres, was monitored by CCTV cameras and watchtowers. Security duties were carried out by RAB, BGB, police, and Ansar forces.
