BNP distributes leaflets urging voters to boycott upazila polls

  • Program started from Mauna union

Sreepur upazila BNP has distributed leaflets in eight unions of Sreepur upazila to urge people to boycott the Upazila Parishad elections on May 21.

For the last three days, these programs were held in Mauna, Gazipur, Telihati, Kaoraid, Barmi, Gosinga, Rajabari and Prahladpur unions of the upazila.

BNP's Sreepur upazila unit President Shahjahan Fakir and Secretary General Aktarul Alam Master led the program.

Sreepur upazila BNP leaders and activists started the program from Mauna union of the upazila.

They have already distributed thousands of leaflets urging the people to boycott the upazila elections.

Many leaders and activists have prepared leaflets on their own initiative with the leaders and activists of the affiliated organizations of the party and are distributing the leaflets among the ordinary working-class people, rickshaw drivers, traders, farmers and labourers in different markets.

Former president of Sreepur upazila BNP Abdul Motaleb and Organizing Secretary Nazrul Islam also participated in these programs.
