Three teenagers drowned together in the Padma River adjacent to Paba upazila in Rajshahi.
They went missing after bathing at Shyampur Balur Ghat in the upazila on Tuesday afternoon. Their bodies were recovered around.
The deceased are Manush Jubaraj, 14, Nuruzzaman, 15, and Arif, 14. They were residents of the Paschimpara area in ward No 5 of Katakhali Municipality, Bakhrajab union.
Rajshahi Fire Service Deputy Director Obaidul confirmed the incident, saying the men went missing while bathing in the Padma River at Shyampur Balur Ghat. Following the report, the fire service divers were deployed for the rescue.
The bodies were recovered and have been kept at the morgue of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).
