A man has been arrested over a case filed in the rape of a four-year-old child in Barkal upazila of Rangamati on Saturday.
The arrested is Md Yusuf Howladar, the uncle of the rape survivor.
Barkal police arrested the accused and brought him to the court of Rangamati Senior Judicial Magistrate Kawsar Parvin who ordered to send the accused person to jail.
In the statement, the plaintiff and the child's mother mentioned that Yusuf Howlader raped her four-year-old daughter in the kitchen on the morning of March 21. When the child was brought to the Rangamati General Hospital that afternoon, the doctor conducted an examination and found that her daughter had been raped and suggested police action.
