State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu has said that TCB's product sales activities will be accelerated, imams of mosques will also be brought under the card of TCB gradually.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at an exchange meeting for the holy month of Ramadan and the holy Eid-ul-Fitr with the imams of all the mosques of Tangail's Nagarpur upazila on Saturday under the initiative of Alhaj Maqbul Hossain Foundation established in the name of his father.
Local and religious leaders were also present at the meeting.
Imams of all the mosques in the upazila were present at that time. After the ceremony, Alhaj Maqbul Hossain Foundation gave cash rewards to 703 imams of the upazila.
