Sajjad said Cox's Bazar RAB's intelligence team discovered a new hideout of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (Arsa), a separatist group in Myanmar's Rakhine State, in the extended part of Rohingya camp No 20 in Ukhiya upazila.

Acting on the information, a raid was conducted on Wednesday night in block No 5 of the extended area of the camp, leading to the detention of Arsa Bangladesh chief commander Kalim Ullah Prakash, Ataullah Jununi's former bodyguard Akiz, Md Zobair and Sadek Hossain from a house.

Furthermore, a foreign pistol, a gun, bullets and explosives were seized from their hideout. Following the detention of the four Arsa members, additional raids were conducted on their various hideouts in the Rohingya camp the next morning.
