At least four people were killed and three others were injured as a fish-laden truck overturned on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Chandina upazila in Comilla.
The incident took place at around 6am on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Rafiqul Islam, Monir Hossain, Habibur Rahman and Akhter Hossain.
Omar Faruk Mollah, in-charge of Eliotganj Highway police outpost, said that a truck carrying fish from Noakhali to Dhaka overturned after hitting a truck.
The injured were taken to Chandina Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared four of them dead, he added.
The official said that the bodies have been kept at Eliotganj police outpost and the truck was seized.
The bodies will be handed over to families after legal process are completed, he added.
