President Mohammed Shahabuddin has announced the construction of a Sheikh Kamal Hi-Tech Park in his hometown, Pabna.
“We must develop Pabna,” the president said while talking to journalists at the media centre of Pabna on Wednesday night.
The president said: “I became the president of Bangladesh thanks to the well-wishes of the people of Pabna. I have duties towards them.”
He also asked people to pray for him.
Pabna Deputy Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman confirmed this information.
“Two spots have been selected for the Hi-Tech Park. Further action will be taken immediately after receiving his (president) preference,” he added.
