Miscreants set ablaze at the door of an abandoned building of the No1 Kandila Government Primary School in Tangail municipality.
The school will be used as a polling station on Sunday’s election.
The fire incident took place in the early hours of Saturday.
Locals extinguished the fire. In this arson attack, a door was burnt fully while another door of the building was partially burnt.
The school’s Headmaster Nazmul Anam said that two doors of the building were set on fire.
Police visited the scene. However, it is not yet known who set the fire.
