Hundreds of members of the local Christian community in Thakurgaon organised several pre-Christmas events on Wednesday in a festive and colorful manner.
Marking the celebrations, they cut cakes at the Gobindanagar Roman Catholic Mission in Thakurgaon town. They also sang and danced there.
Samuel Singh, president of the Bangladesh Christian Association’s Thakurgaon chapter, and Superintendent of Police Liza Begum, among others, attended the celebrations.
Security was heightened on the mission premises on this occasion.
