Miscreants set ablaze a parked bus of “SP Transport” in Tangail’s Delduar upazila.
The incident took place at Natiapara kitchen market area of the upazila around 11:30pm on Monday.
Delduar police station Office-in-Charge Mostafizur Rahman said that the bus was parked next to the market. The bus assistant was sleeping inside the bus.
Fortunately, he managed to get off the bus before anything could happen to him.
Later, the fire service brought the blaze under control.
Meanwhile, some miscreants had set fire to a bus of Baishakhi Paribahan in the Shyamoli area in Dhaka. .
The bus came under attack at 3:45pm on Monday, confirmed Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters.
On information, two firefighting units from Kallyanpur Fire Station went to the spot to douse the fire under police protection.
However, locals and passengers of the bus managed to douse the fire before the firefighters arrived.
