Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon on Friday said that the construction works of Bhanga-Jessore rail route will be completed by June 2024.
He said this while visiting the newly constructed rail line from Bhanga railway junction to Lohagara in Narail district and the railway stations under construction.
He said: "People are aware about the development works done by the present government. And they are with the prime minister.”
Apart from the inspection work, he exchanged greetings with the passengers of the Sundarban Express while going from Dhaka to Bhanga station.
The minister visited the Bhanga, Muksudpur, and Lohagara railway stations which are under construction by a gangker.
During the visit, he suggested building infrastructure considering the convenience of passengers.
