A group of miscreants set a truck on fire at Yusufpur area in Bogra on Sunday night while cocktails were exploded in front of the Muktijoddha Complex on the north side of the bus stand.
According to witnesses, the truck was travelling from Nandigram to Natore. At that time, six-seven people on motorcycles approached the truck on the Bogra-Natore highway in the Yusufpur area, and started throwing bricks at it.
Subsequently, they poured gasoline on the truck and ignited it.
Nandigram police and fire service came to the spot and extinguished the fire.
Nandigram police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azamgir Hossain confirmed the incident, adding that attempts are underway to identify the perpetrators of these offenses.
