A four-member delegation of the European Union (EU) visited the Ukhiya Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar.
The delegation reached the Rohingya camp around 10am on Monday.
The delegation is led by Paula Pampaloni Asia and the Pacific, European External Action Service (EEAS) acting managing director Paola Pampaloni.
Shamsud Douza Nayan Refugee Relief and Repatriation Office Additional Commissioner said: “The EU delegation the UNHCR-run Rohingya registration program at Ukhiya Kutupalong Camp No 4. Later, they visited the Unicef-run Rohingya Children's Learning Centre and the Rohingya education program and spoke to the Rohingya students.”
Paula Pampaloni then visited the Rohingya Cultural Centre run by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and spoke to Rohingya volunteers of the Community Protection Committee, he added.
After the visit, the delegation held a brief meeting with high-level government officials at the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commission Office at 4pm. They then left Cox's Bazar.
Earlier on Sunday, a delegation of the European Union (EU) arrived in Dhaka on a five-day visit.
