A man was allegedly tortured and burned to death over repayment of loan in Netrokona upazila of Mymensingh district .The incident took place at 11pm on Tuesday in Rangchhati union of the upazila.The deceased was identified as Mujibur Rahman, 50, a businessman.Kalmakanda police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Ahad Khan said the victim had borrowed money from a man in his neighbourhood.On Tuesday morning, a fight broke out between the two over the repayment of the borrowed money. The man and some of his associates tortured Mujibur and set him on fire.The body has been sent to Netrokona District Hospital for autopsy. The victim’s family was preparing to file a case, said the OC.
