The Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) authorities will reopen its dormitories on October 28 in compliance with the health rules.
Acting registrar Prof Selim Hossain confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Wednesday.
He said: “The residential halls are reopening considering the inconvenience of the students.”
Prof Rabiul Awal, director of the Department of Student Welfare, said that students would be able to enter the halls from 8am on Thursday after submitting a Covid-19 vaccination certificate or registration card.
On October 3, the 93rd emergency meeting of the syndicate made the decision.
