Six doctors of Debidwar Upazila Health Complex in Comilla have been given show-cause notices for being irregular and neglecting their responsibilities.
Debidwar Upazila Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr Ahmed Kabir issued the show-cause notice on Monday afternoon at the instructions of District Civil Surgeon Dr Mir Mubarak Hossain.
Confirming the matter, Dr Ahmed Kabir said the doctors have been directed to respond to the notice within three working days.
The doctors who received the notices are - orthopedics consultant Md Faisal Umam Rajib, medical officers Mosharraf Hossain Titu, Faria Jafrin Ansari, Abdul Qayyum, Ahiduzzaman Sikder and Saiful Islam Shuvo.
