At least four people were killed, and three injured in a collision between a truck and a pick-up van in Sirajganj on Thursday.
The incident took place in the district's Ullapara upazila around 7am, said Hatikumrul-Bonpara police station Officer-in-Charge Badrul Kabir.
The deceased have been identified as Sujan, 32, Rabbi, 24, Rana, 30, and Ayen, 4.
Officer-in-Charge of Salanga police station Shahidul Islam said: "The pickup van was headed toward Rajshahi from Dhaka after selling cows. The van collided with a Dhaka-bound truck coming from the opposite direction, killing the four people on the spot.”
Both vehicles have been seized by police.
