Two people were dead as two motorcycles collided head-on on Srinagar-Dohar bypass road at Jashurgaon under Srinagar upazila on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Yeasin, 22, a grocery shop owner, and Saimon, 18, son of Shamsul Islam.
Three people were injured in the accident.
Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of Srinagar police Station, said the accident occurred around 9:30 pm when the two motorcycles collided with each other, leaving the two dead on the spot and three others injured.
The injured were taken to a local hospital.
