Chief Justice: People will lose confidence in court if trial takes long

Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique said that if people do not get trial in the court for a long time, they will lose their confidence in the court. 

He said this after inspecting the Nyaya Kunj (waiting room for litigants) construction site and laying the foundation at Tangail District and Sessions Judge Court and Chief Judicial Magistrate Court premises at about 3:30pm on Wednesday.

He said that the judges were trying to keep the number of cases at a reasonable level. He sought the cooperation of all to keep cases at a manageable level.

Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique took the initiative to set up Nyaya Kunj in court premises in 64 districts of the country after taking charge. The purpose of this is that litigants can rest in peace when they come to the court premises for justice.
