Two men on a motorcycle were killed as their vehicle collided with a bus coming from the opposite direction at Tiprabazar of Comilla Cantonment area on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Baten, 37, son of late Ayub Ali and resident of Sharifpur area Burichang upazila and Mizanur Rahman, 36, resident of Barura upazila.
Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Mainamati Crossing Highway police station, said that the accident occurred when a New Janata Paribahan bus hit a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction and ran over the motorcyclists, leaving the two dead on the spot.
The bodies were handed over to their relatives, he added.
