KMRF honours 620 meritorious students of Sirajganj

The students are of 110 high schools

Khwaja Mozammel Hoque (R) Foundation (KMRF) honoured 620 meritorious students with stipends and honorary certificates on Thursday.

The students are from classes eight and ten, of 110 high schools in Sirajganj district.  The awards were handed over at Sohagpur Notunpara Alhaz Siddique High School in Belkuchi upazila, said a press release.

The program has been a success as the participating students, teachers, guardians, and privileged persons of the society feel honored and motivated towards a bright future, reads the press release.

The chief guest of the program and Chairman of KMRF, Khwaja Tipu Sultan distributed the stipend and certificates to the students. 

During his brief speech, he first apologized for not being able to host this ceremony for the last three years due to Covid-19. 

Sultan spoke directly to the students and congratulated them for achieving such success.

In his speech, Sultan asked for a special commitment from the students to refrain from lying to family, friends, parents, and teachers. “We should give priority to others' needs over our own needs. Avoid finding fault with others and focus on our own shortcomings. Through, self-criticism and self-purification and by following the guidance of our Prophet (S) and Oli Allah's, we can be a true human being and build a pure and successful nation in the world.”

He invited this group of students to be an example for others. 

He also said: “Khwaja Mozammel Hoque (R) taught us that honesty and integrity in work is considered as Ibadat. He thanked everyone and expressed hope to continue this event even bigger and better for years to come.”

Md Tofazzal Hossain, assistant director of, Local Government Department presided over the program. 

District Education Officer Kazi Solim Ullah and Officer-in-Charge, Belkuchi, Md Aslam Hossain spoke as special guests. 

Md Sajjadul Hoque Reza, managing committee president, and Md Mehedi Masud, headmaster of Sohagpur Notunpara Alhaz Siddique High School also gave greetings and a welcome speech at the event.  

The "Medhaay Mati" episode of various merit-based competitive programs was one of the attractions. Arman Khan, chief coordinator of the Greater Sylhet Region of the Foundation, was also present at the event.

Chief Coordinator of Greater North Bengal of KMRF Sayedul Islam Bhuiyan Romel coordinated the entire program. 

KMRF Treasurer Sohel Hossain Ibne Botuta, Chief Coordinator Greater Comilla Region Engineer Khurshid Ahmed, Chief Coordinator Greater Mymensing Md Shahjahan, Chief coordinator of Greater Dhaka Region Mezbahul Alam Ripon, Advisory Committee Member Shamsul Hoque and other advisory committee members of KMRF were present at the event. 

Since 2001, the Sufi-based welfare organization Khwaja Mozammel Hoque (R) Foundation is a non-profitable and non-political organization. 

Besides, the foundation is providing capital as “Sadka-E-Zaria” among poor devotees of Hazrat Khwaja Shah Yunus Ali Enayetpuri (R) to furnish their financial self-dependency. It also successively established two free medical service centers to give medical services to poor people.
