A collision between a Taqwa minibus and CNG auto-rickshaw occurred in Naozor area on the Dhaka-Tangail highway in Gazipur metropolis on Wednesday.
The mob set Taqwa bus on fire following the accident.
Although there were injuries in the accident, there were no casualties reported.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Basan police station Matiuzzaman said the minibus of Taqwa Paribahan was heading towards Chandra.
When it reached Mahbub filling station in Naozor area it collided with a CNG auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction. The auto-rickshaw overturned and the driver was injured, he said.
Meanwhile, the mob set Taqwa Paribahan's minibus on fire. The injured have been rescued and taken to the hospital. No one was injured in the fire incident, he added.
