
Severe winter has paralyzed people's lives in the northern district of Dinajpur.
For the last one week, a cold wave has been sweeping over the district.
For the past week, the temperature of this district remained at 10-12℃.
Asaduzzaman Asad, in charge of Dinajpur Met Office, said.
On Thursday, the temperature was recorded at 10℃.
This temperature will remain the same for two more days, he said.
The bone chilling wind further increasing the intensity of cold.

Due to the dense fog, vehicles are forced to move slowly with headlights on in the middle of the day.
Various ailments such as pneumonia, common flu and respiratory problems have become widespread among people, especially the children and elderly.
Dinajpur Civil Surgeon Dr AHM Barhan Ul Islam Siddiqui said Dinajpur Medical College Hospital has 50 beds, Sadar Hospital has 30 beds and Aurobindo Shishu Hospital has 100 beds.
All of these hospitals have been seeing a surge in children and elderly patients admitted with cold-related diseases.
Doctors and nurses have been struggling to provide treatment.
Dr Barhan said about 150 children are receiving treatment at these hospitals.
