A gang of thieves allegedly cooked omellets and ate rice at a house in a village in Bhola Sadar upazila on Sunday.
They also stole some apples and oranges from the kitchen on their way out of the house of Ruhul Amin, a resident of Char Ananda Part-3 village.
Ruhul Amin said that on Sunday night, the thieves fried three eggs, and ate rice with it. They also left the eggshells on the side of the stove.
Amin added that the gang could not steal anything expensive from his house as they could not enter his bedroom.
However, the gang stole a clock, some blotting paper and the fruits, he added.
