Awami League divisional organizing secretary and whip Abu Sayed Al Mahmud Swapan said the Awami League public meeting in Chittagong will surpass the pologround.
He hoped that the people of Chittagong would greet Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Referring to many mammoth public meetings in Chittagong in the past, Swapan said the public meeting on the next December 4 will create a new record by breaking previous ones.
He was addressing a press conference at city's Jamalkhan Senior's Club on Friday.
Chittagong city, North and South District AL organized the press conference to make Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's rally a success to be held at city's pologround on December 4.
