BNP has already started to carry out campaigns for its Rajshahi divisional rally on December 3.
But, the party did not receive any permission till 9:30 pm on Monday.
BNP wants to organize the mass rally at madrasa ground (Hazi Muhammad Mohsin Government High School Ground) in the city.
However, currently the police have been deployed there after hanging a lock on that field gate.
The party leaders alleged that when decorators went to build a stage in the field, they were returned back.
The complaint was made by the district and city BNP in a press conference at the party office on Monday.
District and city unit BNP organized this press conference at Malopara BNP office in Rajshahi city at 11am.
Rajshahi district BNP co-organizing secretary Shaheen Shaukat said in the press conference that they have not been given a field till Monday. Madrasa grounds have been locked by the police.
Police are creating new terror in the name of crude bombs explosion. Cases have been filed in 9 upazilas. Police are arresting their party's men in that case, he added.
