Officers-in-charge of Sirajganj's Raiganj and Bangabandhu Bridge West police stations have been transferred.
Rajshahi Range DIG Md Abdul Baten signed the order for their transfer on Tuesday.
Raiganj Police OC Rafiqul Islam has been ordered to be transferred to Pabna and Bangabandhu Bridge West Police OC Mosaddek Hossain to Bogra.
Confirming the matter on Wednesday afternoon, Sirajganj Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Samiul Alam said: "They have been transferred in public interest."
