Police have arrested six robbers in connection with the robbery of police microbus in Sirajganj.
The arrestees are-Tushar Ahmed, Wazed Ali, Abdul Latif Khan, Inamul Haque Ashiq, Abdul Motaleb and Sohel Rana.
Three local weapons used in the heist as well as the stolen goods were seized as well.
At a press conference on Sunday afternoon, Sirajganj Superintendent of Police Arifur Rahman Mandal provided this information.

Arifur Rahman said the robbers were detained from various locations in Gazipur and Sirajganj on Saturday night.
The arrestees often robbed people at various locations from the Bangabandhu Bridge’s West Link Highway to Syedabad area, the police official said.
On Wednesday, a microbus carrying members of Bogra’s Sonatola police station was robbed in Sirajganj.
A case was filed with Bangabandhu Bridge West police station on Thursday.
