A man has gone missing after a bulkhead vessel hit a trawler in the Rupsha River in Khulna.
The missing man - Mahtab Uddin is a worker of the trawler.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Monsur of Rupsha Naval outpost, said the Hiron point-bound trawler capsized with seven passengers on board as a bulkhead vessel hit it near Rupsha railway bridge around 10pm on Sunday.
Mahtab went missing while the other passengers managed to swim ashore.
“A rescue operation is underway,” said SI Monsur.
