Police on Sunday arrested a war criminal from Satkhira for committing crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971.
Abdul Hamid Khan, 79, was arrested after a raid was conducted at his house in the district’s Kaliganj upazila, said Kaliganj police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Halimur Rahman.
Khan had an arrest warrant issued against him, he added.
The accused will be handed over to court on Monday.
