A 65-year-old woman died after falling from the terrace of her three-storey building in Patiya upazila of Chittagong on Wednesday.
The deceased is Sanawara Begum, the wife of Ayub Ali of the Patiya municipality area.
The woman's family members told the police that Sanawara went to the terrace around 10:30am to water her plants. She then allegedly slipped and fell down.
Sanawara was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, where the doctor on duty pronounced her dead on arrival, said Sub-Inspector Alauddin, in-charge of the local police camp.
