Riding on an elephant, Goddess Durga has taken a seat in the mandap of the Tiger Sangha, which is modeled after the World Cup trophy in the Rajshahi city.
Keeping in mind the upcoming World Cup football frenzy, the pavilion is themed with a 26-foot replica of the trophy and flags of various countries and the World Cup logo.
The biggest religious festival of Bangalee Hindu started on Saturday.
On the occasion of this festival, the whole city of Rajshahi is decorated with colorful decorations.
Among them, the Tiger Sangha is at the center of discussion. The size of the theme is 42 feet, 30 feet wide. The trophy is 26 feet long and 10 feet wide.

As the girls of our country are champions in the Saff tournament this year, we have also thought of this theme to congratulate them with this theme.
Sushil Kumar Agarwal also said that their budget for this mandap is Tk8 lakh which basically they collected through their own association and with the help of some expatriate friends. Besides, there is government grant for each mandap.
General Secretary of Rajshahi Mahanagar Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad, Shyamal Kumar Ghosh, said that Durga Puja is being celebrated in 450 mandaps in Rajshahi. Among them, 75 in the city.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Commissioner Abu Kalam Siddique said that communal harmony has never been destroyed in Rajshahi before, nor will it be in the future.
Maximum police measures have been taken to maintain normal law and order situation in the city. Besides, Ansar members are also performing their duties.
