A woman died after a wall of her home collapsed on her in Viail union under Chirirbandar upazila of Dinajpur early on Saturday.
The deceased is Samsun Nahar, 48.
Chirirbandar police station OC Md Bazrul Rashid confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
Mizanur Rahman, member of ward No 3 of Viail union parishad, said: “While she was doing the dishes, the mud wall drenched in rain collapsed on her, leaving her seriously injured.”
Samsun was then taken to the local upazila health complex, where the doctor on duty pronounced her dead.
